Shuttle & Parking Information
There are 2 shuttle locations. One in Downtown Ventura (approx. 1.5 miles from the Finish Area) and one at the Ventura County Government Center (approx. 7 miles from the Finish Area).
During registration you selected your shuttle location and time for your event. You can look this information up by logging into your RunSignUp Account, and selecting Manage Registration. Select the Add Ons Tab and from here you can edit or view your Shuttle time and location **Seats/times for shuttles are limited and sell out, You must board the shuttle at the location and time you selected- NO EXCEPTIONS. Your shuttle location and pick up time will be printed on your bib.
Downtown Ventura Shuttle to Start Line
(Full Marathon/Half Marathon/ &10K)
There are nearly 2000 parking spots available in Downtown Ventura within a short walk to the shuttle Pick Up Location, however the parking is on a first come first serve basis and not guaranteed. Shuttles will leave from Plaza Park off of Santa Clara at 4:00 am and 5:00 am for the Full Marathon, 4:00 am, 4:40 am, and 5:15 am for the Half Marathon, and 4:00am, 4:30am, 5:00am and 5:30am for the 10K. Be sure to arrive at least 30 min prior to your shuttle time to give you enough time to find a space, and walk to the shuttles. THERE IS RETURN SHUTTLE SERVICE FROM THE FINISH LINE BACK TO PLAZA PARK, SEE “RETRUN SHUTTLE” SECTION BELOW.
Directions to Downtown Ventura Shuttle/Parking
From 101 N/Los Angeles
From Hwy. 101, take the California St. exit (70A). Turn right onto S. California St. At Thompson Blvd make a left or right to head to the various downtown parking options. Check out all Downtown parking information Here!
From 101 S/Santa Barbara
From Hwy. 101, take the Ventura Ave. exit (70A). Turn right onto E. Thompson Blvd. Take any left off Thompson Blvd. to the various downtown parking options. Check out all Downtown parking information Here!
Government Center Shuttle to Start Line
(Full Marathon & Half Marathon Only)
This shuttle option picks up at the Ventura County Govt Center located at 800 S Victoria Ave Ventura CA 93009 and will shuttle you to your start line. The Government Center is approx. 7 miles from the finish line. There are two shuttle times for the Full and Half Marathon that leave at 4:00 am and at 5:00 am. THE LAST SHUTTLE WILL LEAVE AT 5:00 AM!!! Be sure to arrive at least 30 min prior to your shuttle time to give you enough time to find a space, and walk to the shuttles. THERE IS RETURN SHUTTLE SERVICE FROM THE FINISH LINE BACK TO THE GOVERNMENT CENTER, SEE “RETRUN SHUTTLE” SECTION BELOW.
RETURN SHUTTLES
DOWNTOWN VENTURA and GOVERNMENT CENTER- RETURN SHUTTLES
After you finish we will have shuttles waiting to return you to either our Downtown Ventura or Government Center Parking Areas. The return shuttles will run from 8:00 am – 1:30 pm. Pickup is on the Eastbound side of San Pedro St. Near the State Beach Finish Line.
($10) Return Shuttle Service to the Full Start Line
If you chose to “Drive Yourself” (during the registration process) to the Full Start, we will have Return Shuttles running from 8:00 am – 1:30 pm to get you back up to Ojai. Pickup is on the Eastbound side of San Pedro St. Near the State Beach Finish Line. Shuttles will drop you off near the Full Marathon Start Line where you can then make your way back to your car. **If you did not select this option during registration you must find your own way back from the finish– Shuttles will have limited seating reserved for those who selected and paid for this option online (Return Shuttle Service to Full Start Line will be printed on your bib)
Getting Dropped off or driving yourself to the Full Marathon Start?
Getting Dropped Off Recommended Route-Head North on Hwy 33 until Hwy 33 and Hwy 150 branch away from each other. Take slight Right onto Hwy 150. Continue into Downtown Ojai. Road closure for event starts at Ventura St. Take Left onto Blanche St and immediate Right onto Matillija St. Athlete drop off zone is between Signal St and Montgomery St. Do not park, simply let runners out and continue driving. Be courteous to other runners and drivers. DO NOT PARK in drop off zone for any reason!!!! To leave, turn left onto Montgomery St followed by a left on Aliso. Then Left on Ventura St. **Important: You cannot head back through Ojai the way you came in. Westbound Hwy 150 lanes will be closed. Continue Straight on Ventura St over Hwy 150 and follow detour signs to get back to Ventura.
Driving yourself is NOW RECOMMENDED, but option to do so must be selected during registration. There is plenty of Neighborhood parking north of the start line in Downtown Ojai. Hwy 150 will be closed to traffic in both directions from Signal St to Gorham Rd. with detours in place. If you plan to drive yourself, or are a spectator, parking is on a first come first serve basis. Pay attention to all parking signs as Mountains 2 Beach and its affiliates and sponsors are not responsible for parking tickets or towing. Note- If you drive yourself to the Full Start Line, arrive no later than 5:15am to ensure ample time to park, walk, warm up, use bathroom etc. There will be a return shuttle service at the Finish Line, but only if you selected and paid for this option during registration. See “RETURN SHUTTLE SECTION” ABOVE.
Getting dropped off or driving yourself to the Half Marathon Start?
Getting Dropped Off Recommended Route –From the 101 North or South Head North on Hwy 33 towards Oak View. Once in Oak View, turn Left on Santa Ana Blvd then Right on Valley Rd. Valley Rd wraps around to Monte Via. Left on Monte Via. Athlete drop off zone is anywhere along Monte Via. Do not park, simply stop and let runners out and continue driving to head Left on Santa Ana Blvd. and back to Hwy 33 to leave. DO NOT PARK in drop off zone for any reason. Be courteous other runners and drivers. Please keep the noise down for our neighbors, its o’dark thirty on a Sunday and they do not wish to be disturbed.

Pay attention to all street parking signs as Mountains 2 Beach and its affiliates and sponsors are not responsible for parking tickets or towing. Any participants choosing to park at the Half Start will need to find their own way back up after the race. Shuttles will only take participants to the start before the race, NOT after.
Getting dropped off or driving yourself to the 10K Start?
Getting Dropped Off Recommended Route –From the 101 North or South Head North on Hwy 33 towards Shell Rd. Exit Shell and turn Left towards Ventura Ave. Head Left on Ventura Ave for less than 1/2 mile and pull over at or before Crooked Palm. Athlete drop off zone is anywhere along Ventura Ave near Crooked Palm (Do not turn down Crooked Palm). Do not park in the drop off area, simply stop and let runners out and continue driving north on Ventura Ave until you get to Canada Larga Rd. Turn Right and head back to Ventura via Hwy 33. DO NOT PARK in drop off zone for any reason. Be courteous other runners and drivers. Please keep the noise to a minimum.

Parking for the 5K and Kids 1K Start
We recommend parking in the State Beach parking lot at 901 San Pedro St. Parking is $10 and using their parking app is recommended (Details inside Athlete Info Packet). There is very limited parking in the surrounding Pierpont neighborhoods and it’s not recommended.
*There are NO shuttles for the 5k Start. If you park Downtown (where there is free parking) it is approx. 1.5-2 mile walk to your start line.
