There are 2 shuttle locations. One in Downtown Ventura (as we always have) and one at the Ventura County Government Center (approx. 7 miles from the finish area).
During registration you selected your shuttle location and time for your event. You can look this information up by logging into your RunSignUp Account, under your Up Coming Events select Manage My Registration and then select the Add Ons Tab. From here you can edit or view your selection. Your shuttle location and pick up time will be printed on the back of your bib as well.
Downtown Ventura Shuttle
There are nearly 2000 parking spots available in Downtown Ventura within a short walk to the shuttle and finish line however the parking is on a first come first serve basis and not guaranteed. Shuttles will leave from Plaza Park off of Santa Clara at 4:00 am and 5:00 am for the full marathon and 4:00 am, 4:40 am, and 5:15 am for the half marathon. Be sure to arrive at least 30 min prior to your shuttle time to give you enough time to find a space, and walk to the shuttles. THERE IS RETURN SHUTTLE SERVICE FROM THE FINISH LINE BACK TO PLAZA PARK FOR 2023, SEE “RETRUN SHUTTLE” SECTION BELOW.
Directions to Downtown Ventura Shuttle/Parking
From 101 N/Los Angeles
From Hwy. 101, take the California St. exit (70A). Turn right onto S. California St. At Thompson Blvd make a left or right to head to the various downtown parking options. Check out all Downtown parking information Here!

From Hwy. 101, take the Ventura Ave. exit (70A). Turn right onto E. Thompson Blvd. Take any left off Thompson Blvd. to the various downtown parking options. Check out all Downtown parking information Here!
Ventura County Government Center Shuttle
This shuttle option picks up at the Ventura County Govt Center located at 800 S Victoria Ave Ventura CA 93009. This is approx. 7 miles from the event finish line. You will be taken from the Govt Center to the event start line where you will then run to the finish. There are two shuttle times leaving at 4:00 am and at 5:00 am. THE LAST SHUTTLE WILL LEAVE AT 5:00 AM!!! Be sure to arrive at least 30 min prior to your shuttle time to give you enough time to find a space, and walk to the shuttles. RETURN SHUTTLE FOR DOWNTOWN VENTURA AFTER EVENT
The return shuttles for downtown Ventura will run from 9:00 am – 2:30 pm and pickup is on the west bound side of San Pedro St. Near the State Beach Finish Line.

Being Dropped off or driving yourself to the Full Marathon Start?
Head North on Hwy 33 until Hwy 33 and Hwy 150 branch away from each other. Take slight Right onto Hwy 150. Continue into Downtown Ojai. Road closure for event starts at Ventura St. Take Left onto Ventura St and immediate Right onto Matillija St. Athlete drop off zone is between Signal St and Montgomery St. Do not park, simply let runners out and continue driving. Be courteous to other runners and drivers. DO NOT PARK in drop off zone for any reason!!!! To leave, turn left onto Montgomery St followed by a left onto Grand. From there follow detour signs to get back to Ventura.
Driving yourself is NOT RECOMMENDED. There is extremely limited parking near the start line in Downtown Ojai. Hwy 150 will be closed to traffic in both directions from Signal St to Gorham Rd. with detours in place. If you plan to drive yourself, or are a spectator, parking is on a first come first serve basis and is in the residential area North of Hwy 150. Pay attention to all parking signs as Mountains 2 Beach and its affiliates and sponsors are not responsible for parking tickets or towing. Note- if you drive yourself to the start line, you must find your own way back to your car after the event.
Being dropped off or driving yourself to the Half Marathon Start?
Recommended route –From the 101 North or South Head North on Hwy 33 towards Oak View. Turn Left on Mahoney Ave then Right on Prospect. Athlete drop off zone is anywhere along Prospect St. Do not park, simply stop and let runners out and continue driving and head Right on Santa Ana Blvd. to leave. DO NOT PARK in drop off zone for any reason. Be courteous other runners and drivers. Please keep the noise down for our neighbors, its o’dark thirty on a Sunday and they do not wish to be disturbed.
Driving yourself is NOT RECOMMENDED. There will be limited parking in the neighborhoods. Please be respectful of the locals, and not be loud in the morning. Pay attention to all street parking signs as Mountains 2 Beach and its affiliates and sponsors are not responsible for parking tickets or towing. Any participants choosing to park at the start will need to find their own way back up after the race. Shuttles will only take participants to the start before the race, NOT after.
Parking for Beachfront 5K Start and Kids 1K
NOTE there are NO shuttles for the 5k. Parking Downtown is 1.5 miles from the 5K Start Line.
We recommend parking in the State Beach parking lot at 901 San Pedro St. Parking is $7 and using their parking app is recommended (details coming soon). There is very limited parking in the surrounding neighborhoods but it’s not recommended.
