For 2018, there will be 2 shuttle locations. One in Downtown Ventura (as we always have) and one at the Ventura County Government Center (approx. 7 miles from the finish area).
During registration you selected your shuttle for the event and it will be printed on your bib.
Downtown Ventura Shuttle
There are nearly 2000 parking spots available in Downtown Ventura within a short walk to the shuttle and finish line however the parking is on a first come first serve basis and not guaranteed. Shuttles will leave from the intersection of Santa Clara St and Junipero St at 4:00 am and 5:00 am for the full marathon and 4:00 am, 4:45 am, and 5:15 am for the half marathon. Be sure to arrive at least 30 min prior to your shuttle time to give you enough time to find a space, and walk to the shuttles. THERE IS NO RETURN SHUTTLE. SIMPLY WALK BACK TO YOUR CAR.

Ventura County Government Center Shuttle
This shuttle option picks up at the Ventura County Govt Center located at 800 S Victoria Ave Ventura CA 93009. This is approx. 7 miles from the event finish line. You will be taken from the Govt Center to the event start line where you will then run to the finish. There are two shuttle times leaving at 4:00 am and at 5:00 am. THE LAST SHUTTLE WILL LEAVE AT 5:00 AM!!! Be sure to arrive at least 30 min prior to your shuttle time to give you enough time to find a space, and walk to the shuttles.
RETURN SHUTTLE FOR GOVT. CENTER AFTER EVENT
The return shuttles for the Govt. Center location will run from 9:00 am – 2:30 pm and pickup is on the north side of the Fairgrounds main parking lot next to the Amtrak Station.
Being Dropped off or driving yourself to the Full Marathon Start?
Head North on Hwy 33 until Hwy 33 and Hwy 150 branch away from each other. Take slight Right onto Hwy 150. Continue into Downtown Ojai. Road closure for event
starts at Ventura St. Take Left onto Ventura St and immediate Right onto Matillija St. Athlete drop off zone is between Signal St and Montgomery St. Do not park, simply let runners out and continue driving. Be courteous to other runners and
drivers. DO NOT PARK in drop off zone for any reason!!!! Then turn left onto Montgomery St followed by a left onto Grand. From there follow detour signs to get back to Ventura.
Driving yourself NOT RECOMMENDED. There is extremely limited parking near the start line in Downtown Ojai. Hwy 150 will be closed to traffic in both directions from Signal St to Gorham Rd. with detours in place. If you plan to drive yourself, or are a spectator, parking is on a first come first serve basis and is in the residential area North of Hwy 150. Pay attention to all parking signs as Mountains 2 Beach and its affiliates and sponsors are not responsible for parking tickets or towing. Note- if you drive yourself to the start line, you must find your own way back to your car after the event.
Being dropped off or driving yourself to the Half Marathon Start?
Recommended route –From the 101 North/South Head North on Hwy 33. When you enter Oak View turn left on Mahoney Ave. Turn right on Prospect St. Athlete Drop Off Zone is along Prospect St. DO NOT PARK in drop off zone for any reason!!!! Let runners out and keep moving. Turn right on Santa Ana Blvd and head out the way you came. Be courteous to other runners and drivers. Keep Noise down in residential area.
Driving yourself NOT RECOMMENDED. There will be limited parking at the Neighborhoods of Oak View. We suggest using Google maps and really scouring the area before you arrive. Please be respectful of the locals, and not be loud in the morning. Pay attention to all street parking signs as Mountains 2 Beach and its affiliates and sponsors are not responsible for parking tickets or towing. Any participants choosing to park at the start will need to find their own way back up after the race. Shuttles will only take participants to the start before the race. NOT after

NOTE there is NO PARTICIPANT RACE DAY PARKING at the Ventura County Fairgrounds!!!
The Fairgrounds lot will be open to spectators and family but not for athletes in the early hours of the morning. It also is not free.... We recommend all spectators and family utilize downtown Ventura parking options
There are ample pay locations available in Downtown that are not enforced ( WHICH MEANS THEY ARE FREE) until 10 AM on Sundays. So if you will be done with your event before 10 AM, please use a pay spot.
Parking for Kids 1K Fun Run
The closest parking will be at Ventura County Fairgrounds. Parking at the fairgrounds is $5 CASH ONLY!
Enter on Figueroa St and proceed to Lot C for parking. Anacapa Hall is one of the big buildings on your right. Look for Clif and M2B signs.

From Hwy. 101, take the Ventura Ave. exit (70A). Turn right onto E. Thompson Blvd. Take Thompson Blvd. .2 miles and turn right onto Figueroa St. After crossing the Amtrak tracks, the road will become Shoreline Dr. Ample Parking is available at the nearby downtown district and Finish line is just South of the Fairgrounds on the Promenade beachfront path. From Hwy. 101, take the California St. exit (70A). Turn left onto S.
