2024 M2B 10K Turn by Turn
- Starting near the Finish Line at the San Buenaventura State Beach (on Bike Path near Cylo looking bathrooms) **Same start line as the 5K
- Follow bike path north for a little over a mile
- Along the way you will pass under the Pier. Stay Beachside for the remainder of the way out (Runners stay left)
- At the Flagpole you will hit the turn around. U-turn right (around the flagpole) and head back toward the Pier (Runners stay left)
- At the south end of the parking structure turn left and head up the walking path towards Harbor Blvd.
- At the “T” intersection of the walking path turn right. (Do not continue onto Harbor)
- Continue Straight under the Pier and along the walking path.
- At the white gate at the end of the parking lot turn left
- Then immediate left onto Harbor Blvd. (This is where the 5k and 10k separate)
- Head towards the Pier on Harbor and then Right at crosswalk and head up and over the pedestrian bridge
- Straight on Ash St
- Right on Front St (10k has now joined the Full/Half Route at this point)
- Merge Right onto Thompson
- Right on Sanjon
- Turn Right on Harbor Blvd for a short out and back. **Important: There are two turnaround points on Harbor the first one is for the Half Marathon’ers only, the second one is for the Full and 10K’ers. Stay alert and turn around at the correct location.
- After your U-Turn Left on Harbor you may merge into 5k’ers and Half Marathoner’s
- At Sanjon and Harbor enter Bike path and turn Right *This is the start of Loop 2.
- Continue north along the bike path out to the flag pole turn around for a second time.
- U-turn right (around the flagpole) and head back toward the Pier (Runners stay left)
- At the south end of the parking structure turn left (same as before) and head up the walking path. At the “T” intersection of the walking path turn right. (Do not continue onto Harbor)
- Continue Straight under the Pier and along the walking path to the white gate turn left
- This time you immediately turn Right onto Harbor Blvd
- **You may encounter merging Half Marathon’ers and slower 5k’ers on Harbor- Stay Alert.
- At Sanjon and Harbor turn right towards the bike path, followed by an immediate left (you are now headed back to the Finish Line along the bike path)
- Left into the Finish Chute and you’re home free!
